Dr. Ajit Kumar Pillai completed his BDS from Rajas Dental College and Hospital, Tirunelveli, and pursued his MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, Davangere, Karnataka.

A distinguished academician, he was honored with the Prof. B.P. Rajaa Gold Medal for his exceptional performance from the first to the final year of BDS by the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. He also received the Best Paper Award in the Clinical Innovation category at the 15th IOS Conference, showcasing his dedication to advancing dental care.

Dr. Pillai has successfully cleared Phase II of the Indian Board of Orthodontics and completed a Basic Course in Biomedical Research. His expertise is further enhanced by specialized training in "Enhancement of Training Skills (Micro Teaching & Training Aids)" for faculty members and health professionals, conducted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi.

Currently, Dr. Pillai serves as a Senior Assistant Professor at Sivagangai Medical College, where he contributes to education and patient care. His areas of interest include growth modulation and cleft lip and palate treatment, reflecting his deep commitment to addressing complex orthodontic challenges.

With a strong sense of social responsibility and a passion for making a difference, Dr. Pillai continues to excel as an expert in his field, combining advanced knowledge with compassionate care.
