Dr. S. Sumalatha, M.D.S.

Dr. Sumalatha S graduated with a B.D.S degree from Government Dental College, Bangalore, in 2006 and earned her M.D.S from Bapuji Dental College, Davangere, in 2012.

She began her teaching career at M.S. Ramaiah Dental College, Bangalore, in 2012 and has been a part of the faculty at Best Dental Science College, Madurai, since 2013. With over 12 years of teaching and clinical experience, Dr. Sumalatha combines her passion for academics with exceptional patient care.

In 2012, she was honored with the Prof. J.G. Kannappan Award and the Dr. C.M. Prakash Memorial Award for being the Best Outgoing Postgraduate. She has actively contributed to the field of orthodontics, conducting several hands-on workshops and delivering lectures at various orthodontic study groups.

A dedicated academician, Dr. Sumalatha has numerous publications to her credit. As a clinician, she holds a special interest in growth modulation and biomechanics, showcasing her commitment to advancing orthodontic practices.
